Rebranding to Hook this Nonprofit’s National Audience

Seafood Harvesters of America is a national commercial fishing organization, founded in 2012, that is dedicated to addressing the unique issues facing the seafood industry. We worked with the Board of Directors and Executive team to elevate and enhance the organization’s existing branding; we created a new brand look and feel, including a logo, tagline, fresh colors, typography, tagline, and voice and tone to better showcase and celebrate the work they do. We also developed a mobile-friendly website and created merchandise designs and print collateral to align with the rebrand.

The Challenge

This nonprofit needed a new brand identity that accurately reflects its leadership position in the commercial fishing industry. The organization also needed an elevated, engaging website that aligns with the organization's branding. The website was clunky and outdated. It wasn’t easy to navigate or mobile-friendly. The messaging and the brand visuals—the look and feel—were disjointed and not full representative of the work the organization does across the country.

Solution

We leaned into the organization’s core values of unity, stewardship, and accountability to develop an authentic and engaging brand look and feel for all collateral and the new website. We created a user-friendly website that is not only appealing to the eye but captivating in its message to educate and inform the organization’s audience: commercial fishermen as well as legislators and policy makers.The result is a brand look and feel that will continue to carry the organization’s mission and vision into the future.
